The main services to be provided may include, among others, the provision of security guards, “active” GPS/GPRS tracking systems, alarm systems and CCTV systems.

      4. Description of the procurement:
         

         The object of the contract will be the provision of security services for the Delegation of the European Union in Guatemala to guarantee the security of persons and assets for which the Delegation is responsible. The object is to conclude a framework contract with a company specialised in the security of persons and assets.

         The services to be provided under this context will include: keeping the buildings managed by the Delegation (offices, residence of the ambassador and the homes of expatriate staff) under surveillance and establishing patrols to prevent any intrusions and attacks to persons and assets. Controlling visitor access to buildings. Creation of a radio communication network between the buildings from a central facility by the company. The intervention of a rapid response team in the event of incidents. Where applicable, other security-related services such as installing alarm systems.
