         TenneT heeft, na het voeren van een onderhandelingsprocedure zonder voorafgaande bekendmaking, opdracht verleend aan RWE Generation NL BV , teneinde de beschikbaarheid van productie-eenheid Swentibold te garanderen ten behoeve van spanningshuishouding en het oplossen (danwel voorkomen) van transportbeperkingen in de Provincie Limburg. Onder de overeenkomst is de Swentibold productie-eenheid exclusief voor TenneT beschikbaar en in te zetten tussen 1 januari 2024 en 31 december 2025.

         De geraamde waarde van de overeenkomst is gebaseerd op de beschikbaarheid van 4.500 uren en is inclusief de kosten voor activatie van de eenheid (kosten voor aardgas, CO2 emissierechten (EUA) en hulpstoffen) gedurende die uren. Het daadwerkelijk aantal ingezette uren wordt achteraf vastgesteld.
