         The Secretariat – to be provided by the current contract and composed of a full time Director, Private Sector Development Specialist, Administrative and Logistic/driver assistants, and half-time Trade and Investment Advisor, ad-hoc experts and IT/communication expert – will support the SB4U Platform, which was officially launched by the President of Uganda at the end of the first ever Uganda-Europe Business Forum held in Kampala in March 2020. The SB4U Platform aims, through a partnership of equals between EU and Ugandan stakeholders, to structure a regular public-private sectors dialogue and take actions to improve investment climate promoting low-carbon and sustainable business, trade and socio-economic development. In addition to steering economic reforms and implementing measures, the Platform will strengthen the business and trade partnerships between domestic and European associations and companies by producing market information and coordinating missions and events
