         ESIA is to be prepared for the works to be financed from UMIP funds: WWTP and WTP rehabilitation and 1st Stage PS rehabilitation and efficiency improvement. The scope of work of this assignment is as follows:

         • Identify existing and Project-related environmental and social impacts and risks;

         • Describe and characterise a relevant environmental and social baseline commensurate with the risks posed by the current existing individual site operations (investment components) and the Project;

         • Develop a ESIA Assessment report in accordance with the Ukrainian and EIB’s requirements, as defined International Standards and the EIB Environmental and Social Standards.

         • Prepare a Stakeholder Engagement Plan (SEP), Environmental and Social Action Plan (ESAP) – for MVK and draft Non-Technical Summary (NTS)

         • Identify potential environmental and social opportunities and/or the associated current operations

         • Perform ex-ante estimation of physical environmental benefits of the Project or verification

         • Finalise all documentation further to the MVK’s, the City’s, EIB or UMIP’s requirements or comments.
