         Die Stadt Kempten führte zur Neugestaltung des Stadtparks Kempten einen offenen städtebaulichfreiraumplanerischen Ideen- und Realisierungswettbewerb nach RPW 2013 durch. Gegenstand des Ideen- und Realisierungswettbewerbs war die Neugestaltung der Freiflächen des zentralen Stadtparks und der angrenzenden Bereiche in Kempten. Dabei sollte für diesen bedeutsamen Ort ein Konzept entwickelt werden, welches die vielseitige Nutzung des Parks, die besondere städtebauliche Situation und die bedeutende Lage in unmittelbarer Nähe zum historischen Stadtzentrum berücksichtigt.
