Addendum: Amendment to Briefing Session Date: Bids are hereby invited for the following: Appointment of a service provider for water and sanitation – bulk water infrastructure project for engineering services at Dr Kenneth Kaunda District Municipality. Scope of work: Project preparation for civil engineering design services: The service provider’s scope of work entails digital technology condition assessment and civil engineering design service for the Rehabilitation and Upgrading of Water and Sanitation Infrastructure in the Dr Kenneth Kaunda District Municipality. The service provider must conduct conditions assessment of the current state of the water and wastewater infrastructure using relevant technologies. They must also provide detailed designs of the various infrastructure upgrades to comply with the municipality’s requirements and design standards. The service provider shall provide the following services: i. Conduct a detailed condition assessment with the aid of advanced remote monitoring, oversight and confined spaces supervision, verification, and audit services using photographic, satellite imagery, light detection and ranging, and analytics technology for projects; ii. Analyse and develop a design solution including detailed engineering designs; iii. Develop detailed Bill of Quantities which covers all aspects of the pipe network including valves, valve chambers and all probable functional equipment; iv. Provide a detailed design report with supported design documentation, drawings, and specifications. Detailed work packages/Scope of Work (SOW): 1. Conduct a detailed condition assessment; 2. Analyse and develop a comprehensive water network solution; 3. Development of a detailed construction cost estimate for the projects of the Water and Sanitation Programme; 4.
