Frances Baard District Municipality (FBDM) hereby invites qualified service providers to submit proposals for the following: Printing of Annual Report 2022/23. Specifications: Books: • Size: A4, portrait, • Quantity: 100 books, • Number of pages: 244 (total - excluding blank inner cover pages), - Inner pages = 242, - Cover = 4 pages (colour outside, blank inside), • Binding: Perfect binding. Page specifications: The book has a common base or master pages. There are 56 pages in the body of the book, which is in colour, excluding the cover. The master pages of the book are also in colour. • Inner pages: Paper thickness - 180gms, • Type of paper - gloss finish, • Cover: Paper thickness - 300gms, • Type of paper - gloss laminated: - Colours: CMYK colours used throughout the book, - Pictures: Resolution: 300 dpi. Compact Disk: The service provider must also produce 50 copies of the book on compact disk with the front cover of the book as cover design for the disk. Size: standard (120mm across x 1.2mm thick). Design Software: Adobe InDesign CS6. The report can be submitted to the service provider as a pdf. The service provider should then advise on the final pdf that must be submitted i.e. corrections or alterations that must be made to ensure a high-quality end-product.
