Scope: a) The service provider must quote for the supply, pack and the delivery of individually wrapped plush fleece blankets. b) The items must be packed in order totals as per the order provided. c) The number indicated is an estimate, so the supplier must quote per pack. More or less of the plush fleece blankets than indicated might be required. d) The lead time for delivery is 14 working days after the receipt of the official order. e) The appointed service provider must deliver all packaged blankets to the following address: - For attention: Donovan Muller, Main Building, Stellenbosch Municipality, Plein Street, Stellenbosch 7600. Specifications of blankets: a) The supply, packaging and the delivery of plush fleece blankets. b) Material: 200g/m² Polar Fleece, machine washable and polyester fabric. c) Blanket should measure about 150 x 120 cm. d) The edges of the blanket must be overlocked. e) Fleece blanket has a luscious shaggy texture that adds a touch of trendy warmth. f) Product is made from microfibre yarns, which are extremely fine fibres that are exceptionally soft to the touch. g) Product is made with hypoallergenic fibres, which are less likely to trigger an allergic reaction. h) Colour dark blue. i) Each blanket individually wrapped. Addendum: Amendment to bid document: Bids are hereby invited for the following: Appointment of a suitable consultant to conceptualize and assist with the establishment of a Lecturer Development Centre in South Africa. Scope of work: - In the technical proposal, the bidder is required to carefully analyze the list of tasks to ensure the successful completion of the project. The tasks listed shall be provided as assistance to the DHET and the EEC. - The contract for this Project will be executed in two distinct Phases. The first Phase (Concept and Planning Phase) will require the IC to work with the College and the DHET to conceptualize and refine the operating model of the LDC. - In the second Phase (Implementation Phase) full implementation of the project will take place, making the centre fully operational. The IC is expected to assist the DHET, and the EEC with the Project Implementation Plan prepared in the first Phase. - The conceptualization of the project should be completed within the first 6 months of the project duration. Subject to approval of the concept the project will then proceed to the implementation phase. This will be substantively the largest part of the project. Finally in phase three a month is allocated for a review of the work to date. - The project steering committee will need to approve the concept for implementation. However, it is not anticipated that there will be a break in the project time frame. Committee meetings will be planned and managed to ensure that approvals are received in time. Re-advertisement of contract number: WS-7808: Tenders are hereby invited for the following: Provision of day and night street cleaning services in Durban Warwick triangle (Berea Part, Market Area and Greyville Part) for a period of 36 months – wards 28. Scope: The provision of street cleaning in the contract area shall comprise of the following: - Service provision by the supplier: i) The contract area is defined on the demarcated map enclosed in Section 7 (Drawing) of the document; ii) The supplier shall be responsible for maintaining all the streets, arcades and open public areas in the contract zone in a clean and tidy state; iii) The areas to be cleaned are: • The full reserve width of all roads and streets in the contract area; • The full width and length of all arcades in the contract area; • The Bus and Taxi ranks in the contract area; • Informal trading areas; • Designated open areas; iv) Notwithstanding the scope of works prescribed, the supplier’s attention is drawn to the fact that the service must be provided on all the streets, roads and open areas that fall within the boundary and where the boundary line is positioned. All refuse collected, as described, from the supplier’s area shall be stockpiled by the supplier at the designated and communicated points. The scope of works entails the Professional Services of a Health and Safety Officer for the monitoring of the construction of 11 (eleven) gabion structures (groynes) in the Baviaans River over an approximate distance of 1km as well as rehabilitation work to Groynes 1 to 29 which was damaged by past floods. This project consists of the following elements: 1. Approval of Contractor’s H&S plan; 2. Monthly inspections of the works with reports to Engineer; 3. Supervision and monitoring of the appointed contractor to successful completion regarding H&S concerns; 4. The attendance of a compulsory monthly site meeting; 5. One close-out meeting will also be held; 6. Allow for 7 meetings. The works, as described, is part of the Disaster Management Programme for the Baviaans River situated next to Genadendal, Western Cape. The works must be completed within a 7-month contract period.
