Quotations are hereby invited for the provision of IMG – long travel Bogie replacement for Transnet SOC Ltd operating as Transnet Port Terminals at the Port of Richards Bay. Scope: • Fabricate and replace the IMG bogie; • The approved contractor will have to fabricate and replace the complete assembly of bogie with all associated components; • The contractor will have to cut off (lance out) existing mounting pins as they are seized up; • Fabricate a proper trestle to support the shiploader for replacing the bogie; • The drawing(s) will be provided for bogie; • New mounting pins dimensions should be confirmed onsite; • Conduct paint work as per TPT specs.
