Re-advertisement: South African Broadcasting Corporation invites tenders for the appointment of a service provider for the provision of indoor gardening services for SABC Free State and Northern Cape regions for a period of five (5) years. Scope: The service provider will render the following services to the SABC Bloemfontein, Kimberly and Platfontein offices: Every fortnight ensuring your plants stays beautiful: • The Bidder to supply the pots and plants and maintain them throughout the Contract; • Watering and fertilizing of plants as and when necessary; • Cleaning all dust and dirt from foliage as and when necessary; • Cleaning the plant containers; • Corrective pruning and trimming of plants to maintain an aesthetically pleasing plant environment as well as endue healthy growth; • Checking and treating for pests; • Ensure that the soil pebbles and bark chips levels around plants are sufficient; • Plant specimens where possible are rotated by pot turning; • Ensure that plants maintain their optimum condition by placing plants in the appropriate light conditions; • Liaise with SABC on microclimate condition and refashioning of plants.
