Re-Advertisement: Quotations are hereby invited for the following: Take-up structure repairs for Transnet Soc Ltd operating as Transnet Port Terminals at the Port of Richards Bay. Scope: 1.1. The counterweight box shall be repaired; 1.2. Replace the threaded bars with channels: - C100x50 2000mm LG 2 off; 1.3. Replace take-up trolley wheel rails: - Angle iron: L 50x50x6 9000mm LG, 4 off; 1.4. Repair/replace six take-up structure safety guards: - Safety guard dimensions: 3000x900 in mm; - Material used: L 50x50x6 frame and 50x6 flat bars, Mesh 6318F; 1.5. Service all the trolley wheels and sheave wheels, 1.6. Apply grease on the steel wire ropes, 1.7. The bottom of take-up must be cleared of cargo for proper assessment anchor fasteners, 1.8.
