Re-advertisement: South African Institute for Aquatic Biodiversity hereby invites tenders for the following: Appointment of a service provider to provide minor structural, electrical and plumbing refurbishments to SAIAB storage unit in Durban. The scope of work offered by service provider to include but not limited to: 1) Where necessary, installation of security systems. 2) Cement work including plastering, floor leveling, building of basic structures where necessary and as instructed by a SAIAB representative. 3) Painting work, including the painting of walls, wet areas and other areas as required. 4) Other work including installation of burglar guards, installation of wall mounted units, installation of firefighting systems, installation of lifting equipment. 5) Scope of work is not limited to the scope provided, other work may be required as and when the need arises, this will be communicated with the supplier. 6) Electrical work including installation of distribution board, re-routing of wiring, installation of plugs, installation of lighting, trunking.
