West Rand District Municipality is hereby inviting prospective service providers to quote on the following: Hosting and Enhancing the WRDM Website for a period of thirty six (36) Months. Scope of Work: The selected service provider will be responsible for the following: a) Hosting Services: • Migrate the existing municipal website from the current in-house server to the service provider"s infrastructure. • Provide reliable web hosting services with a guaranteed uptime of 99% over a 36-month period. • Implement necessary security measures to protect the website and municipal data. • Offer a scalable hosting solution to accommodate potential traffic and content growth. b) Website Enhancement: • Upgrade the current website using the most cost-effective means or platform to improve its functionality, design, and user experience. • Customise the website design to align with the municipality"s branding and requirements where necessary. • Implement responsive design to ensure optimal performance. • Provide training and documentation to the municipality"s communication officer to enable them to upload and manage municipal information efficiently. Proposals are hereby invited for the following: Provision of CE Marking of the Umbi flow (continuous-wave fetal ultrasound) Medical Device, EU Class II-a to the CSIR. Scope of Work: The CSIR aims to obtain CE marking for the Umbiflow (EU Class IIa) medical device as soon as possible and the bidder’s ability to expedite the CE Marking process is therefore of importance. CE marking is mandatory for Umbiflow’s introduction into the South African market as per regulatory requirements. Umbiflow has been developed by the CSIR’s Industrial Sensors Impact Area within the Manufacturing Cluster in collaboration with the South African Medical Research Council and the team holds current certification in ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 along with a SAHPRA Manufacturing License for Umbiflow for clinical trial application. In compliance with regulatory requirements, the Cluster aims to obtain CE marking for the Umbiflow medical device (EU Class IIa). The Umbiflow device has already passed EMC/EMI and ultrasonic radiation emission tests at accredited labs (in Canada and UK respectively).
