Must be easy to prepare and have reduced reading time. Must come with Most Potable Number (MPN) table or obtained through an easy accessible secure site. The results for analysis using the HPC Quanti-tray should be obtainable in at least 44 hours of incubation at a temperature range of 36±2°C. The technology must share the same Quanti-Tray system as Colilert, Enterolert and Pseudalert testing. The technology must be able to minimize contamination, be able to reduce hands-on time in the lab and have less subjective interpretation than the pour plate method.
