Re-advertisement: uShaka Marine World invites eligible and accredited service providers to submit a written quotation on their official letter head for the following: Overhauling of centrifugal and submersible pumps. General Scope of Works: We require the overhauling of the following centrifugal pumps which is used in the chiller plant room and Atlas plant room application. - Service Provider to come to site to establish condition of Pump and spares required for a complete overhaul, repairs and assembling of the above pumps. - A refurbishment / replacement of Pump volute casing if required. This includes a suitable method of sandblasting, repairs, coating and build up etc. - An engineering finish within acceptable standards of the pump manufacture. (Eg: machining and welding of steel components. Note that all mating faces need to be cleaned and true to ensure correct alignment. - External application is to be corrosion resistance coating. - Drill and tap casing and fit new stainless steel 316L studs. - Slot new key way if required. Supply all new spares. - Sleeve, shaft, oïl, new dipstick, gasket kit, mechanical seal, Bearings, Impeller gaskets, O-rings and packing where required is to be supplied. - Gland studs and nuts to be replaced with 316L stainless steel components - The pump is to be assembled and painted to spec. - After repairs and during transportation, the pump must be wrapped in a protective cloth to protect the outer coating - Upon arrival the pump will be inspected before handing over, alternately we will come to your site of work to inspect the pump.
