Bids are hereby invited for the appointment of a contractor for the refurbishment, alterations, and additions at East London Corridor - Mtsotso Station in the Eastern Cape Region to be done over 8 months construction period. The scope of work for this project shall entail the following activities: • Removal and disposal of dilapidated building materials, structures, equipment and rubble; • Improvement to buildings and structures; • Improvement of the systems for provision of water, sewerage and drainage; • Renovation of station lighting and provision for electrical supply including; standby power supply (generator), etc; • Provision for station signage and platform lines; • Supply and installation of access control and security monitoring systems; • Refurbishment of platforms and shelters; • Supply and installation of fire-fighting equipment and systems; • HVAC – Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning. Proposals are hereby invited for the following: Appointment of a service provider to provide support and maintenance to the existing Virtual Office (VO) and uFiling systems of the Unemployment Insurance Fund for the period of thirty-six (36) months. Scope of work: - The service provider must support and maintain the existing systems (Virtual Office and uFiling) developed with the technology stack; - The service provider must provide continuous enhancement of the existing and new functionalities to ensure is aligned to new legislative and policies; - The service provider must offer onsite, second and third line support and respond to requirements arising from the users who utilise the uFiling and VO systems; - The service provider must monitor uFiling and VO systems and conduct periodic health checks and recommend and/or perform remedial action when necessary; - The service provider must provide an online payment platform for the existing uFiling System for the duration of the contract; - To verify the current source code for the Fund and that the code can be recompiled, maintained and that it is an exact version of production; - The service provider may be required report to the UIF Head Office at 230 Lillian Ngoyi Street, Pretoria (ABSA Towers) for meetings and JAD sessions; - The allocated resources will be expected to report to the Fund`s ICT Management (Business Application Manager); - The VO and uFiling Systems are hosted at the Departmental Data Centre; - The appointed service provider must have relevant skills, expertise and experience to design, develop, deploy and support the VO and uFiling systems in production environment.
