Re-advertisement: The University of South Africa invites suitably qualified service providers to provide the University with services to construct the Bulk service infrastructure on the Sunnyside South Campus. Specifications: The works under this contract will consist of the following: • Site Clearance; • Existing Services – Expose & Relocate Existing Services; • Bulk Water consisting of 500dia PVC Class 12 pipelines, together with 200dia offtakes with meters and shutoff valves and chambers, for each of the blocks; • Bulk Stormwater consisting of 450 dia & 1650dia Reinforced Concrete Class 100D pipes and 2.5m x 2m Rectangular Concrete Channel, including inlet and outlets, kerb and channels, grid inlets, manholes, headwalls; • Bulk Wastewater consisting of 250 dia Class 34 uPVC pipes, manholes, connections to blocks; • Horizontal Drilling of 315dia HDPE PN 10 pipes 2 sections of 50m long under Nelson Mandela Drive i.e 100m long; • Pipe Jacking of 1200dia Reinforced Concrete Class 100D pipes 2 sections of 50m long each under Nelson Mandela Drive i.e 100m long; • Reconstruction of Surfaced Roads with Kerbs; • Pedestrian walkways and Crossing and Bus Embayment"s.
